Prof. Dr. Herbert Ugrinowitsch
Graduated in Physical Education at Faculdade de Educação Fïsica de Santo André (Brazil) and completed Specialization in Volleyball at Universidade de São Paulo (Brazil). In addition, Herbert also got his Master's and Ph.D. in Physical Education at Universidade de São Paulo, in Motor Behavior and post-doc at the University of Queensland (Australia). He is an Associate Professor in the School of Physical Education, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (Brazil). His research has focused on investigating the factors that influence motor skill learning and the control mechanics on motor skills adaptation. More specifically, he has testing factors that influence the control and learning of volleyball motor skills and adaptation of force control and interceptive actions when facing unpredictable perturbations. Before starting his Master's, Herbert was volleyball coach in Brazil, and today he uses his previous experience in researches.
